Charlie’s Story, the current short film for the flagship Rebuilding Shattered Lives campaign, has been recognised as the one of the top campaigns of 2026.
As well as being honoured as a finalist in the Association Excellence Awards’ ‘Best Blog Podcast or Video’ category, the judges also thought Charlie’s Story should be a contender for the ‘Campaign of the Year’ award and have added it to the shortlist.
“The whole sector should be very proud of Charlie’s Story and this recognition from the judges, who are our peers from membership bodies in every corner of the economy. The film demonstrates, very effectively, the value of the law on compensation to the victims of negligence you support,” said APIL’s chief executive Mike Benner.
“Remember, Rebuilding Shattered Lives is not APIL’s campaign – it’s yours. It is for every personal injury firm and practitioner who wants to protect the rights of their injured clients.”
The Association Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate the essential work of associations, trade bodies, unions and professional organisations. The winners will be announced in November.
